Founded as a private Gymnasium in 1888, Freies Gymnasium Zürich is one of the oldest Gymnasiums in Zurich. It enjoys long-standing tradition and is a staterecognised school. Pioneers in truly bilingual education
Freies Gymnasium Zürich is the pioneer of truly bilingual education. In the year 2000, it founded the Bilingual Middleschool Zurich (BMZ) together with Lakeside School (Küsnacht).
